Job Title: Construction and Commission Engineer (Subsea and Renewable Asset Installation & Intervention Equipment) \n\nJob Overview: Construction and Commission Engineers will drive the commissioning & testing processes and will work in collaboration with the design, fabrication and project management teams.\n\n Typical equipment - offshore wind turbine foundation deployment systems, ploughs, deck spreads, walk to work systems - amongst others - each system is unique and complex.\n\n Key Responsibilities:\nProject Planning and Management:\n\nDevelop detailed project plans and schedules.\nDevelop in conjunction with others commissioning plans and procedures for complex equipment design, build and operation\nCoordinate with project managers, clients, and others\nInstallation and Commissioning:\n\nSupervise the installation of subsea and renewable energy equipment.\nConduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.\nPerform system testing and troubleshooting.\nTechnical Support:\n\nProvide technical guidance and support to the installation team.\nDevelop and review technical documentation, including procedures and reports.\nEnsure adherence to safety and quality standards.\nCollaboration and Communication:\n\nLiaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers.\nPrepare and present progress reports.\nFacilitate effective communication among project team members.Qualifications:\nEducation:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or related field) or equivalent demonstrable experience.\nExperience:\n\nProven experience in subsea and renewable energy projects.\nFamiliarity with offshore construction and commissioning processes.\nSkills:\n\nStrong project management and organisational skills.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nProficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).Work Environment:\nLocation:\n\nNorth East England\nOffshore and onshore sites, depending on project requirements.\nTravel to various project locations may be required.\nConditions:\n\nWork in challenging environments, including offshore and renewable energy fabrication sites.\nAdherence to strict safety protocols and procedures.This role is crucial for ensuring the successful deployment and operation of subsea and renewable energy deployment and intervention assets.\n\nThe NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
