It involves detailed planning and coordination across logistics, programme, and stakeholder teams. You’ll help ensure successful delivery through quality oversight and reporting.Oversee contract-partner delivery of Steam Turbine construction activitiesRecommend and coordinate actions to address safety or quality issuesMonitor daily site activities and contribute to progress reportingLiaise with health & safety, project controls, and logistics site teamsAttend and document PLOD/PLOW meetings, escalating key issuesConduct assurance and safety inspections to support project standardsCollaborate with site-wide logistics for tactical and detailed planningMaintain clear communication channels with the Senior Construction Delivery ManagerEssential Skills and QualificationsQualifications in Mechanical EngineeringDesign knowledge of Steam/Gas Turbine systems or large compressors and operationsConstruction sequencing and recovery planning experienceAbility to write concise and accurate progress and assurance reportsExcellent organisation, coordination, and stakeholder management skillsProven ability to work under pressure and drive deliveryExperience working in high-security or regulated environmentsUnderstanding of CDM Regulations and related dutiesBackground in large civil/mechanical infrastructure projectsExperience with large rotating mechanical plant for turbine systemsMechanical installation experience from power generation, marine, or oil & gas sectorsBenefitsBenefits include:25 days’ paid annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy or sell daysCompetitive Sick Pay – Support when you need itFree Digital Gym Access – Expert-led fitness classes24/7 Employee Support Line – Mental health, financial & legal helpWe are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
