POSITION OVERVIEW
Location: Colchester, CO2 region
Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Contract Duration: 1-2 months initially (covering permanent vacancy)
Hourly Rate: £13.50 - £15.83 per hour
Permanent Equivalent Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Our client seeks a skilled Plant Engineer to join their rapidly developing construction division, ensuring plant equipment is maintained to exemplary standards whilst consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Principal Responsibilities:
Conduct equipment repair and pre-hire inspections
Execute comprehensive maintenance programmes for construction equipment
Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs
Undertake systematic service and inspection protocols
Maintain equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and regulatory compliance
