Continuous Improvement Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a proactive Continuous Improvement Maintenance Engineer to join a successful manufacturing company, leading engineering projects, optimising plant performance, and driving continuous improvement across the manufacturing site based in Tamworth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver plant improvement and CAPEX projects on time and within budget.
Enhance and implement preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules in line with best practices and compliance.
Provide high-level fault-finding support and technical troubleshooting across production lines.
Drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using Lean/TPM methodologies.
Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise efficiency.
Track key performance metrics and report on maintenance and CI activities.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Skills & Experience:
HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Strong electrical bias with mechanical capability.
Experience with plastics processing, extrusion, or bulk handling systems.
Proven background in maintenance and CI within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of PLC fault-finding and programming (desirable).
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
