We are seeking an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to join a dynamic team in Ashford, Kent, on a rolling contract basis, with a minimum commitment until December 2025. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £40-£50 (Inside IR35) and is ideal for professionals with a background in FMCG or food manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planned and reactive maintenance on production equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain high standards. Required Skills and Experience:

Multiskilled Expertise: Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines. FMCG/Food Manufacturing Background: Experience in fast-moving consumer goods or food production environments is highly desirable.
