Overview

Contract PLC Software Engineer – Siemens Berkshire. Role outside IR35. On-site requirement near Reading.

Responsibilities

• Update, modify and configure existing Siemens TIA Portal PLC software and HMIs on the client's site
• Carry out Siemens PLC software installation, testing and commissioning
• Write on-site test documentation
• Work on-site Monday to Friday near Reading
• Experience with Siemens SCALANCE or Siemens network switches is ideal but not essential

Qualifications & Requirements

• Current DV level security clearance
• British passport holder and have lived in the UK for at least the last 5 years
• On-site availability within 4–6 weeks considered; ASAP preferred but client can wait
• Experience with Siemens PLC software and Siemens TIA Portal is required

• Location: Berkshire, on-site near Reading; commutable from Newbury, Reading, Basingstoke, Bracknell and surrounding areas
