Contract Quality Engineer 6-12 month rolling contract Immediate start available

This is a varied, project driven opportunity for a Quality Engineer looking to have an impact on product robustness and quality assurance (QA) within a highly respected mechanical / electromechanical design, development and manufacturing organisation.

With specific responsibility for supporting non-conformances and product-related quality engineering activities, your key accountabilities will include:

Working with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are maintained across production and projects Supporting the First Article Inspection programme producing first article reports Utilising your knowledge of lean tools to undertake root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions for parts, sub-assemblies and finished products Generation of project-related documentation and quality metrics, e.g. Quality Plans & Product Acceptance Internal auditing of Quality Management System (process & compliance)

To succeed in this role, you will have several years of Quality Engineering experience gained within a manufacturing environment, ideally with knowledge of: First Article reporting Root cause analysis and non-conformance reporting Mechanical / electro-mechanical background ideally sought.
