Are you the kind of Control Systems Engineer who enjoys being trusted to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines?
If that sounds like you, I’ve got an opportunity that might just catch your eye.
You’ll be given full responsibility to manage projects from the very start right through to client handover. This means you’ll need solid project experience and the ability to programme Siemens PLCs completely from scratch — there’s no wiggle room on this. You’ll also be expected to handle all the necessary documentation and lead commissioning on site across the UK.
In the early stages, you’ll work remotely from home, programming and liaising directly with clients. Later, you’ll travel to sites for commissioning so flexibility and a hands-on approach are essential. Most of their clients are in logistics and materials handling, but every project is bespoke, so a broad and varied background across industries is definitely a plus.
It’s important to know that sponsorship isn’t available for this role, so you’ll need the full right to work in the UK.
The company places a huge emphasis on work-life balance, offering flexible hours alongside remote working so you can keep those school runs and life commitments hassle free. Salary ranges from £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience.
