Role – Control Systems Engineer

Location – Leicestershire

Type – Permanent

Salary – £40,000 - £65,000 (competitive depending on experience)

A Leicestershire based engineering company are looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

• HND qualification or the equivalent in Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• Strong background in Control Systems Engineering – modifications & commissioning
• Good understanding of PLC software such as Allen-Bradley & Siemens
• Good understanding of AutoCAD electrical drawing package
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication skills

The Control Systems Engineer’s duties will involve:

• Developing the existing control systems for current & future projects
• Producing electrical schematics & drawings for control panels
• Involvement in R&D
• Commissioning work before handover to customers
• Occasional attending site visits when required
• Providing support on installations when required.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure requirements are met at all times
• Ensuring health & safety regulations are met
