Employees are supported through specialised training and a workplace culture that emphasises accountability, innovation and craftsmanship.\n\nControl Systems Engineer\n\n£40,000 - £45,000 + Enhanced Pension + Healthcare Plan\n\nCoventry\n\nRef: 24720\n\nControl Systems Engineer - The Role:\n\nCommission a range of CNC machine tools\nTest of electrical control circuits & Test safety circuits\nConfigure, load and test PLC / CNC Controls (Mainly Siemens)\nMeasuring system calibrations and preparation of the machine for production trials\nLoad & Test of CNC system, HMI (Siemens), Servo drives (Mainly Siemens)\nDesign of control circuits (hardware and PLC)\nFunctional Testing of the machine tool to product and contract specifications\nEnsure compliance with CE / UKCA requirements\nControl Systems Engineer - The Person:\n\nAbility to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic circuit diagrams\nExperienced with AC & DC control circuits (LV)\nExperienced with setup and commissioning of inverter drives & servo motors\nGood working knowledge of actuators & sensors\nPractical experience of fault finding on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems\nHave understanding and practical working knowledge of CNC machine tools\nExperience of reading & writing PLC programs (TIA Portal & STEP 7)\nBasic NC Programming experience (Siemens 840D experience advantageous)\nLocated in the Coventry areas, this role would be commutable from Redditch, Stratford upon Avon, Bromsgrove, Evesham, Warwick and surrounding areas
