We’re hiring for a Control Systems Engineer to join a specialist engineering business based in Stockport.

In this role, you’ll be involved in designing, programming, and commissioning control systems for bespoke machinery, with opportunities to travel worldwide for installations.

What’s on offer?

* Up to £60,000 (d.o.e)

* Day rate £65 - £100 when working on site

* Mon – Fri | 8am – 5pm

* Early finish on Fridays

What will you be doing as a Control Systems Engineer?

* PLC programming and motion control

* Designing HMI and electrical control systems

* Producing layouts, drawings, and electrical schematics (AutoCAD/EPlan)

* Assembling and wiring control panels, cable labelling, and testing

* Supporting new machine builds and installations worldwide

* Ensuring compliance with machinery safety standards

What do you need?

* Strong PLC programming and electrical design skills

* Experience in HMI and motion control systems

* Knowledge of machine safety and working to standards

* HND or equivalent experience (graduates will be considered)
