Job Title: Control Systems Engineer Location: Leatherhead Industry: Oil and Gas Employment Type: Contract, PAYE/Inside IR 35 Client-Sided Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Assists in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA. - Performs assigned automation-related job functions, including the creation of I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and the specification of instrumentation and control elements. - Prepares budgetary requisitions and conducts bid evaluations. - Assists in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and demonstrates working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC61511. Required Expertise: - Strong gas processing or LNG experience. - Conceptual, pre-FEED, study or FEED experience. - Contributes to the development of preliminary and final stage Instrumentation & Control (I&C) design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets. - Experienced in working in early phases of the project, especially Concept and FEED deliverables. - Over a 12 year period working for a consultant engineering company, machinery manufacturer, or end user company. - Experience in instrumentation requirements for custody metering requirements standards. - Interface knowledge of Electrical system and Instrument interfaces - Has experience in greenfield onshore projects.
