PLC HMI Automation Support Engineer - Midlands

We are a Control Systems Company supporting a wide range of manufacturers, factories, and maintenance teams by solving PLC control systems problems on site. With increasing industrial automation across the UK, we are looking to expand our team.

Location: Midlands (Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Northampton, Kettering) - multiple customer sites. This role offers the flexibility to travel from home to various sites.

Responsibilities:

1. Visit customer sites to assist maintenance engineers with fault finding using PLC software and diagnostic tools.
2. Identify issues such as loose wires, faulty sensors, or machine stoppages and rectify them.

Candidate Profile:

• Likely a Maintenance Engineer with experience working with main PLCs (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, S7, WinCC, Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi).
• No need to be a PLC programmer; fault finding, hands-on skills, and diagnostics are essential.
• An interest in fixing production machinery and deepening control system knowledge.

Rewards:

• Basic salary from £44,000 to £46,000
