Job Summary


We have partnered with a company at the cutting edge of smart building technology, delivering innovative Building Management and IoT solutions across a wide range of industries. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who thrives on technical challenges and enjoys working on complex automation systems that make buildings smarter, more efficient, and sustainable.


Your Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and program BMS systems

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and integration of BMS equipment and devices

• Optimise existing control strategies and deliver system upgrades where required

• Perform regular inspections, preventative maintenance, and fault diagnosis on BMS hardware/software

• Repair and replace system components to minimise downtime

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure systems meet requirements

• Provide training and handover documentation to end-users

• Produce detailed daily reports and ensure Health & Safety compliance on all sites

• Stay up to date with developments in building automation and IoT technology


Your Profile

• Experience working with BMS systems (Tridium Niagara, Trend, Honeywell, Schneider, etc.)

• Hands-on commissioning experience with HVAC plant such as AHUs, boilers, and chillers

• Strong understanding of control strategies and electrical installations

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to travel and occasionally spend time away from home

• Motivated and passionate about the building automation industry

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (advantageous, not essential)

• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills


Package Details

• Location: HQ office in Leigh Lancashire, UK Travel Required

• Salary: £35,000 - £55,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) + Company Car or Car Allowance (Total package up to £70,000)

• Pension: 3% pension after 3 months of employment.

• Holidays: 25 days per year 1st January to 31st December
