AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS) owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We’re the people who keep the cloud running, supporting all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to the innovations customers rely on. You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across AWS to deliver high safety and security standards while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost. Responsibilities

The role involves contributing to the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure; collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet safety, security, and cost objectives; and supporting the continuous improvement of data center IT infrastructure and operations. Specific day‑to‑day responsibilities are determined by the team assignment and may include coordinating projects, applying engineering knowledge to facility and IT systems, and driving results in large‑scale data center initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• Good understanding of electrical diagrams, control diagrams, building operations, control circuits, industrial HVAC.
• Demonstrated leadership in IT technology and MEP/ ACS design engineering focused environments to deliver results.
• Experience driving large-scale enterprise data center projects.
• Fundamental understanding of Data Center IT Infrastructure.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related engineering degree
• Experience with the use and programming of software in building management systems (Schneider, Siemens, Tridium, Trend preferred)
• Experience with the use and programming of electrical power monitoring systems (Schneider, Eaton preferred)
• Knowledge of Data Center Facilities Infrastructure and operation (PDU, UPS, Generators, etc…)
• Proficiency in computer applications such as SQL, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
