As the senior engineer in our Crypto Intelligence Engineering team, youll be working at Elliptic, building a platform for our intelligence organization to efficiently and robustly collect crypto crime intel.

The mission of your team is to scale Elliptic's collection efforts. Intelligence streams come from various sources: external feeds, internal automation, analysis, and client submissions. All data must be classified, stored, and reviewed before being processed into our proprietary graph database.

You will collaborate with two other engineers and our technical founder to create tooling, optimize processes, and remove bottlenecks in these intelligence pipelines.

• Develop software to analyze cryptocurrency usage behaviors and trends on the clear and dark web.
• Implement observability mechanisms (using DataDog) to detect and resolve problems in your environments.
• Mentor and coach team engineers to foster growth and promote best practices.
• Contribute to the engineering strategy of your team with strong opinions and insights.

• 5+ years of commercial experience.
• Familiarity with Postgres and Kubernetes.

• Knowledge of big data technologies, data management, and pipelines.
• Understanding of functional programming concepts.
• Experience managing production workloads of thousands of QPS.
