OverviewNPP are recruiting on behalf of a leading groundwork's & civil's specialist for a senior setting out, site engineer based in the West Midlands area.The role is to carry out site engineer duties, provide technical information and insight to the site teams to ensure the project can be run and completed to the highest standards.DutiesEnsure all project drawings and information is accurateEnsuring that all CAD information is checked and accurateProvide correct technical guidance to the site teamsSetting out duties, and relaying information to the Contracts ManagerHave a good understanding of earthwork volumes, documenting and reporting any changesPromote use of GPS machine control where possibleEnsure QA management procedures are implementedStoring and sharing informationMaintaining accurate records of any changes during the construction process and sharing this information with the surveyor and contracts managerEnsure total station calibrations are carried out annuallyAttending weekly site progress meetings, client meetings and pre-start meetingsQualifications and ExperienceMinimum HNC in construction or civil engineering3 years experience in a similar roleGood knowledge of materials to ensure any specifics or alternatives are consideredAbility to work under own initiativeThis is an excellent opportunity to work for a market leader.
