OverviewPurpose of the role: To develop, implement and maintain solutions that support the safeguarding of the bank's systems and sensitive information.ResponsibilitiesProvision of subject matter expertise on security systems and engineering patterns.Development and implementation of protocols, algorithms, and software applications to protect sensitive data and systems.Management and protection of secrets, ensuring that they are securely generated, stored, and used.Execution of audits to monitor, identify and assess vulnerabilities in the bank's infrastructure/software and support the response to potential security breaches.Identification of advancements to support the innovation and adoption of new cryptographic technologies and techniques.Collaboration across the bank, including developers and security teams, to ensure that cryptographic solutions align with business objectives, security policies and regulatory requirements.Development/implementation and maintenance of Identity and Access Management solutions and systems.Role expectationsTo advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness.Collaborate closely with other functions/business divisions.Lead a team performing complex tasks, using professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function.Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives; appraise performance relative to objectives and determine reward outcomes.Demonstrate leadership behaviours (the four LEAD behaviours: Listen and be authentic, Energise and inspire, Align across the enterprise, Develop others). For individual contributors, lead collaborative assignments and guide team members through structured assignments.Consult on complex issues; provide advice to People Leaders to support resolution of escalated issues. Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work done.Collaborate with other areas to keep up to speed with business activity and strategy. Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes.All colleagues are expected to demonstrate the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence and Stewardship, and the Barclays Mindset to Empower, Challenge and Drive.Qualifications and requirementsJoin us as a CyberArk IAM Engineer with responsibility for spearheading the evolution of our digital landscape and driving innovation and excellence.Strong understanding of CyberArk applications (operational and implementation).Strong understanding of Plugin and PSM Connector development to manage passwords for different applications.Solid background in Information Security principles and controls.Focused on delivering and implementing key enterprise initiatives related to Privileged Identity and Access Management technologies.Decision making during major incidents/outages, capable of communicating with impacted stakeholders and providing rationale for decisions.Good understanding of controls; risk and governance awareness.Location: Knutsford campus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
