Adecco working in partnership with Bentley Motors are searching for a dynamic DAS Concerns Management Engineer to join their Connected Car R&D portfolio planning team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about connected car technology and eager to shape the future of vehicle features and customer experiences.
About the Role:
As a key member of the team, you will provide whole vehicle analysis, focusing on the evaluation and testing of pre-series vehicles in both static and dynamic conditions. Your expertise will ensure that our clients receive the highest quality vehicles that meet their expectations.
Pay Rate: LTD Max: £35.20 Outside IR35
End Date: 31/01/2026 - likely to extend
Working Pattern: Hybrid 3 days a week on site - Wed/Thursday set days
Location: Pyms Lane, Crewe, CW1 3PL
Further details:
International travel involved - at least 4 times per year (USA/China/EU)
Driving Licence is required
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and report functional defects identified during reliability testing.
* Define technical requirements and test profiles for vehicles.
* Develop test methodologies to identify functional product defects.
* Respond to issues raised via the Quality Whole Vehicle system and compile comprehensive problem statements.
* Interpret and analyse vehicle bus data to provide robust functional insights.
* Monitor reliability issues and escalate those with high customer impact to Board level.
* Specify reliability testing criteria and procedures based on customer usage profiles.
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Strong whole vehicle assessment skills.
* Exceptional technical and analytical problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient presentation and communication skills, especially at Board level.
* Team-oriented with excellent influencing skills using data.
* German language skills are preferable.
* Flexibility to adapt to frequently changing priorities.
* Positive, self-motivated attitude and ability to lead complex problem-solving teams.
* Advanced knowledge of vehicle development and industrialisation.
* Capability to apply knowledge of customer behaviour to develop vehicle test requirements.
* Proficient in gathering and analysing vehicle electrical network data.
Technical Proficiencies:
* Advanced problem-solving tools and methodologies.
* Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Data analysis using ODIS, VAS, MDF viewer, and MDA.
Qualifications:
* Engineering degree or equivalent.
