Data Analytics Engineer

Salary up to £60,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a thriving organisation within the media space. As the new Data Analytics Engineer, the ideal candidate will drive the technology department's efforts data analysis, data management and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance analytics and reporting workflows by running production grade code to generate data products, dashboards, and performance metrics used across the business.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on analytics projects, data integration and process automation efforts, ensuring consistency and reliability of data flows between systems.
• Contribute to the development of scalable data architecture for media analytics, aligned with modern best practices

Key Skills Required:

• Good background in data analytics, business intelligence, and strategy implementation.
• ETL, Data Pipelines
• Expert in SQL, proficient in Python and BI platforms.
• Experience with Azure
• Aptitude in Agile methodologies and working practices
• Exceptional communication skills for liaising with both technical and non
• technical stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to innovation.

Desirable skills:

• PL/SQL experience
• Proficiency in Fortran
• Understanding of data warehousing & data modelling concepts
• Existing experience with the media industry and audience measurement.

This role is tailored for a pro-active and technically adept data analyst with strong ETL Pipeline experience, who is passionate about leveraging data for insightful business decisions.

The role is hybrid working, with two days a week in the office.
