The Role

We’re seeking a Data Centre Technician in Farnborough – an excellent career move for Navy service leavers or those with a strong technical background. You’ll help maintain a mission-critical data centre environment, carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily inspections and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and technical systems.
• Respond to BMS alarms and carry out emergency repairs.
• Support and monitor third-party contractors.
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment.
• Take readings (UPS, PDUs, utilities) and maintain accurate records.

What You’ll Need

• Technical training/apprenticeship (military engineering experience highly valued).
• 1–2 years’ experience in technical/maintenance (or equivalent Navy experience).
• Good problem-solving, IT, and communication skills.
• Physically fit, organised, and adaptable.
