About the Data Centre Engineer role:
Our client are a leading IT Infrastructure & Data Centre provider, working with multinational enterprises.
We're looking for a Data Centre Engineer on a 3 month rolling contract basis. This is a field-base role operating along the M25 corridor. No two days will be the same - Youll be given your work schedule two weeks in advance, with the opportunity to take on overtime and enhanced pay for unsociable hours.
What youll be doing in the Data Centre Engineer role:
Installations, patching & troubleshooting in live data centres
Hardware audits, moves/changes, relocations & decommissions
Structured cabling (copper & fibre), rack builds & containment
Supporting data centre migrations & capacity management
What were looking for in a Data Centre Engineer:
Solid hands-on data centre experience (hardware, cabling, break/fix)
Able to work independently onsite with clients
Confident with hardware/cabling audits (Excel skills essential)
Flexibility for occasional nights/weekends (paid at enhanced rates)
