Overview:
A leading global data centre and facilities management provider is seeking an experienced HV Authorised Person (HVAP) to join their shift engineering team at a critical London site. This role involves operational control, supervision, and hands-on maintenance within a high-availability data centre environment. The successful candidate will work closely with Engineering Supervisors and Shift Leaders to deliver safe, compliant, and high-quality maintenance, ensuring uptime and reliability across all plant and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities on building plant, electrical systems, and critical infrastructure Act as the Authorised Person for high voltage (HV) systems, responsible for drafting and executing load transfer, isolation, and reinstatement schedules in line with safe working procedures Manage Permit to Work processes and ensure all safety paperwork and documentation (RAMS, Method Statements, Risk Assessments) are completed to the highest standards Monitor and respond to Building Management System (BMS) alarms and emergency repair requirements Maintain critical cooling plant and ensur...
