Role Overview:

Due to growth and internal promotion, we seek an experienced engineer to join our Data Centre team. You will support and deliver projects related to resilient power systems, ensuring they meet budget and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering resilient power projects with good electrical/mechanical knowledge.
• Willingness to undertake training on Control Systems.
• Ensuring work is completed to high standards and in line with EMCOR QA.
• Managing specialist contractors and preparing specifications.
• Developing project programs and monitoring progress.
• Attending client meetings and factory acceptance testing.
• Managing health and safety compliance and maintaining records.
• Building relationships with clients, colleagues, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Person Specification:

• Extensive experience with electrical systems, especially standby power including UPS and generators.
• Understanding of IT and control systems.
• Proven success in delivering mission-critical power systems.
• Qualifications in engineering or related craft skill, with current BS7671 wiring regulation certification.
• Experience with LV panels and safe switching procedures.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to undertake training in installation and commissioning of power control systems.
• Effective planning and organizational skills.
• Health and Safety (CDM) experience, ECS gold card preferred, SMSTS or IOSH desirable.
