We’re working with a market-leading investment advisory firm that’s looking for a Data Engineer to help build out their next-generation data platform. This is a developmental role , offering the chance to work closely with a world-class investment team and providing a unique pathway into the financial services industry.

What You’ll Do

• • Build scalable, cloud-based data solutions to support analytics and investment products.
  • Develop advanced data models using Python (Pandas) and SQL, working with structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Design and automate data pipelines from multiple sources.
  • Build APIs and internal tools that make data more accessible across the business.
  • Partner with analysts and portfolio managers to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Re-engineer existing workflows to enhance scalability, resilience, and efficiency.
  • Keep technical documentation clear and accessible.

What You’ll Bring

• • Strong Python (Pandas) and SQL skills (Postgres preferred).
  • Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure – AWS preferred).
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and OpenAPI standards.
  • Experience building and maintaining robust data pipelines.
  • A strong eye for data quality, governance, and security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
