We’ve been exclusively retained by a global, publicly listed reinsurance business to appoint an Underwriting Governance Analyst - a critical role supporting the CUO in overseeing delegated authority portfolios, enhancing governance controls, and driving high-quality reporting across multiple lines of business.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor and enforce adherence to underwriting governance frameworks and delegated authority agreements
• Track underwriting KPIs, SLAs, and binder metrics (premium/exposure limits, reporting obligations)
• Produce high-quality MI packs, board papers, and committee reporting
• Oversee coverholder audits and follow-up actions
• Contribute to new business assessments and third-party underwriting frameworks
• Partner with CUOs and internal teams across underwriting, claims, operations, compliance, and finance

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years in underwriting, governance, or portfolio analytics within the (re)insurance sector
• Strong understanding of delegated authority (DUA) and outsourcing arrangements
• Multi-class insurance knowledge (specialty lines preferred)
• Analytical mindset and strong reporting skills (Excel, Power BI or similar)
• Confident communicator with stakeholder management experience in an international setting
• Bonus: experience working in or supporting listed insurance entities; CII qualifications
