Overview

As a Data Engineer here at Onebright York you will contribute to the continuous implementation of the right architecture and data pipelines to enable the company to exploit its data assets. The scope of the data warehouse is to provide operational support and monitoring as well as MI for internal and external stakeholders. You will troubleshoot data quality issues and report on progress and/or blockers to the data team.

• Contribute to the design and implementation of data architectures and data pipelines to enable the company to exploit its data assets.
• Develop and maintain the data warehouse to provide operational support, monitoring, and management information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and report progress and blockers to the data team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or comparable relevant experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and DBT / Airflow
• Background/experience with Azure, Power BI/DAX, traditional SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres), JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Azure Data Factory
• Asset if familiar with SSIS, C#/Python, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps), Masterdata management
• Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle and Change Management
• Experience working in an Agile environment
