Note: The above information relates to a specific client requirement.Accenture is a leading global professional services company, providing a broad range of services across strategy and consulting, interactive, technology and operations, with digital capabilities across all of these services.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement ETL pipelines and orchestrate data flows using batch and streaming technologies based on software engineering best practiceDefine, document and iterate data mappings based on concepts and principles of data modellingRe-engineer data pipelines to be scalable, robust, automatable, and repeatableNavigate, explore and query large scale datasetsBuild processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload managementIdentify and resolve data issues including data quality, data mapping, database and application issuesImplement data flows to connect operational systems, data for analytics and business intelligence (BI) systemsDeliver high quality implementation and documentation for critical functionalityDeliver code, unit tests, feature tests, stubs and integration testsOperate in an agile environment as part of a scrum team and participate in sprint ritualsWork with team members to understand designs, functional requirements and triage issuesQualificationsStrong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or Scala)Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience with data warehousing and lake architecturesETL/ELT pipeline developmentSQL and NoSQL databasesDistributed computing frameworks (Spark, Kinesis etc)Software development best practices including CI/CD, TDD and version controlStrong understanding of data modelling and system architectureExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience in consultancy or working with clients/external partners will be consideredWhat’s In It For You: Accenture offers a competitive basic salary plus an extensive benefits package including 25 days’ vacation per year, private medical insurance and 3 extra days leave per year for charitable work.
