Data Engineer - Hybrid (2 days a month) -Flexible Working

G.Digital are looking for a Data Engineer to join a growing tech team and help shape innovative, data-driven solutions across multiple product markets.

The Role

As a Data Engineer, you’ll design and maintain robust, scalable pipelines, manage data ingestion and transformation, and ensure data is readily consumable by analysts, scientists, and stakeholders. You’ll also play a key role in governance, security, and data visualisation initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and optimising ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Ingesting and integrating datasets from multiple sources.
• Supporting data modelling and analytics initiatives.
• Applying security and governance best practices.
• Developing dashboards and visualisation tools for business stakeholders.

About You

I need someone who:

• Has strong skills in Python, SQL, and handling structured/unstructured data (JSON, XML, Kafka).
• Is experienced with databases, data warehouses, and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Understands data security and best practices in scalable systems.
• Can collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about the value of data.
