Who are we looking for:

Tasks:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms on AWS and OCI.
• Manage AWS services (RDS, Redshift, DMS, Lambda) and implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Administer Couchbase clusters (upgrades, tuning, high availability).
• Develop and maintain replication and streaming solutions (IBM CDC, Confluent Kafka).
• Automate processes with Python/Shell and manage CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins.
• Ensure stability of production systems in Linux/Unix environments.
• Collaborate with global teams across IST and US Eastern time zones.

Requirements 'must have'

• Experience: 5+ years in data platform engineering.

Cloud Expertise:

• AWS: RDS, Redshift, DMS, Lambda.
• OCI Cloud data services.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation.

Replication & Streaming:

• IBM CDC replication technologies.
• Confluent Kafka.
• IBM Voltage encryption.

NoSQL Expertise:

• Strong in Couchbase cluster management.
• Version upgrades, security patching, performance tuning.
• High availability via node scaling and rebalancing.

Programming & Automation:

• Python & Shell scripting.
• Jenkins-based CI/CD pipelines.

Systems Knowledge:

• Linux/Unix environments.
• Networking protocols.
• Ownership of production systems.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication.
• Comfortable working across IST & US Eastern time zones.

Requirements 'nice to have'

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Advanced Certifications.
• Multi-cloud platform exposure.
• Distributed systems architecture experience.
• Hands-on with Kafka streaming platforms.
