OverviewDCS Engineer - Distributed Control SystemsWe are seeking a Distributed Control Systems (DCS) engineer with project experience to support a major UK programme. This is a hands-on role with long-term potential.Location: Fully onsite for first 3 months, then hybrid (1 week onsite / 3 weeks remote, subject to business needs)Contract: 6 months initially, likely to extend up to 23 monthsHours: 37.5 per week (7.5 per day)ResponsibilitiesDesigning, implementing, testing and integrating DCS and control solutionsWorking to industry standards on high-integrity software for defence applicationsEngaging in all aspects of the software development lifecycle within a multi-disciplinary teamLeading assurance, configuration, release and review activitiesRequirementsBackground in Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or related subject)Experience/knowledge of DCS, PLC programming, and SCADA systemsStrong grasp of control systems engineering principlesAbility to translate requirements into robust, compliant software solutions #J-18808-Ljbffr
