Neway International are seeking a Project Manager - Mechanical & Electrical (Capital Projects) to join our client based with London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical and electrical project delivery across leisure and housing capital programmes
• Oversee planning, procurement, contractor management, and on-site execution
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, health & safety, and council governance
• Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants, and stakeholders to meet programme milestones
• Provide strategic input into capital investment planning and risk mitigation

Requirements / Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline
• Extensive experience in construction project management, ideally within public sector capital programmes
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems in leisure or housing environments
• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams
• Chartered status (MIMechE) desirable or pending
