OverviewAs Deputy Electrical Senior Authorised Engineer, you will oversee site-wide electrical, control, and instrumentation strategy through Area Electrical Engineers. Report to the Head of Engineering Governance and coordinate with key stakeholders to deploy governance activities. Primarily office-based with some home working opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow safety procedures and ensure compliance with industry regulations, including Conventional and Nuclear SafetyDeliver CE&I governance by setting standards, guiding engineering, and monitoring performance through audits and metricsEnsure CE&I processes meet national/international standards, Nuclear Site Licence Conditions, and CDM 2015 regulationsOversee 11KV system governance, including switching approvals, engineering oversight, protection studies, and input on related projectsManage Design Authority functions as part of major and minor new projectsWork with other engineering disciplines, team members, engineers and the wider Springfields teamApply Human Factors principles in all engineering activitiesSupport and mentor junior engineers, graduates, and apprenticesMaintain WEC training compliance and pursue CPD, with some travel requiredSupport wider engineering activities, including COMAH oversight, process safety, and related areasQualificationsMinimum 10 years in a relevant CE&I engineering environmentExperience CE&I engineering governancePreferably worked within a Design Authority or similar oversight functionFamiliarity with 11KV electrical distribution systemsProficient in BS7671 (18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations)Knowledge of CE&I standards and regulations (national/international)Understanding of Human Factors and Functional Safety (IEC 61508/61511, SIL levels)Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesUtilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
