Design & Development Engineer Job Overview

Originate innovative design concepts in response to new product briefs provided by the Marketing team. Develop concepts into fully engineered products, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, cost efficiency, and suitability for manufacturing. Review existing and proposed products to identify opportunities for design improvements and cost reductions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and attend development and project meetings as required. Work closely with Marketing, Manufacturing, and other departments to develop effective and practical product solutions. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and idea generation activities to address industry challenges and create original product propositions.
