We're recruiting for an experienced 11kV Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of critical power distribution systems across HMNB Clyde , one of the UK's most strategically important defence sites. This role involves designing the electrical infrastructure post-grid connection into the naval base, including: Substations Switchgear UPS systems Backup generators Power distribution to key buildings and facilities

Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver 11kV-33kV electrical design packages for defence infrastructure. Produce and review SLDs, schematics, cable schedules, protection settings , and technical documentation. Specify and select appropriate switchgear, breakers, and substation components . Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with BS7671 , Machinery Directive , and relevant defence standards.
