My client is a World Leading Civil Engineering Contractor. They are currently seeking a Design Engineer / Design Coordinator to work on a major Civil Engineering Project in the Porthmadog area of North Wales. This project is valued at circa £250m and has a life cycle of another 3+ years. Duties Assist Design manager in updates to CDM plans. Assist Design manager where needed to check for compliance with NR and BS guidance of designing for H+S Assist DM in assessing work complete to inform period application for payment from design suppliers Work with BIM / Doc control team to ensure project documentation is at correct project status and assisting BIM team where new information is incoming and needs uploading to CDE. Review design documentation incoming for completeness with BIM requirement and respond to BIM queries from BIM team. Chase down responses to TQs and other design queries. Compile design packs for onward inclusion in construction contracts Check compliance with client deliverable requirements and keep record/tracker updated
