OverviewAs a Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting engineering projects from concept through to delivery. Working closely with project and procurement teams, you will ensure engineering standards are met and that technical and administrative project requirements are completed efficiently.Please note: Applicants must be UK Nationals and will be required to pass security vetting prior to employment.ResponsibilitiesCompiling, monitoring, and updating project plans, files, and status reports.Providing technical and administrative support across project phases.Supporting drawing and parts list release/modification.Assisting during procurement, build, and test phases.Generating procurement lists, raising RFQs and purchase orders.Overseeing goods inwards approval and allocation to projects.Carrying out additional project-related tasks as required by senior management.Qualifications and skillsSVQ/NVQ Level 5, ONC/HNC (minimum Level 4), or City & Guilds T4/T6 in Mechanical Engineering.Completed EITB-approved apprenticeship.Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles.Strong background in design, engineering, and/or project administration.Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word.Experience of at least 5 years in a Mechanical Design/Manufacturing environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
