OverviewWork Type: Hybrid (2-3 days in the office per week, as well as site visits may be required)Office Location: AshfordResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed lift modernization designs, drawings and technical documentation using AutoCAD.Ensure all designs comply with relevant applicable lift standards, building regulations and health & safety requirements.Liaise with clients, consultants and other third parties to secure approval of drawings and technical submissions.Place accurate and timely equipment orders to suppliers in line with approved designs and specifications.Liaise with our UK modernisation department sales, Project Managers and installation teams to ensure designs are accurate, practical and cost-effective.Support project handovers by providing clear technical documentation and guidance to the installation team.QualificationsProven experience in lift design, ideally within modernization or refurbishment projects.Strong knowledge of UK lift standards, regulations, and industry practices (EN81, BS, Building Regs).Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential); experience with other design tools is an advantage.Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt designs to site-specific challenges.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.Organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Preferred BackgroundDegree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in lift engineering, with a focus on modernization.Familiarity with lift manufacturers’ equipment and modernization packages; familiarity and experience with KLEEMANN products is an advantage.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustries #J-18808-Ljbffr
