Design Engineer - Steel Structures

JN Technical is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to join a national construction company that specialise in the fabrication and erection of steel structures across the UK. *This is a remote based position with occasional office visits.*
Key Requirements: Experience in the UK steelwork industry. Strong design calculation skills, with proficiency in software such as: Tekla Structural Designer (Fastrak Building Designer) Fastrak Portal Frame Masterframe / STAAD PRO Masterseries Connections
Job Responsibilities: Work with clients, colleagues, and other professionals to interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications. Develop and refine design ideas using industry-standard software. Apply loadings and calculate stresses and load paths across various structural components. Ensure compliance with legal guidelines, environmental standards and health & safety requirements. Maintain quality by adhering to company standards and best practices.
