A day in the life of a Murphy Design Engineer - Stress Analyst Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards, including IGEM/TD/12. Collaborating with design engineers to optimize piping layouts and support systems. Undertaking site visits, conducting field inspections and provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases. Preparing detailed stress analysis reports and recommend solutions for identified issues. Evaluating material selection, wall thickness, and load conditions to ensure system integrity.
