Design Engineer

The requirement will be to support the senior future programmes design engineer for development and resilience programmes with the preparation of models and drawings for various pieces of customised equipment.
Typical duties include (but are not limited to): (suggested 5-10 bullets/statements, indicative of the role at this level) Production of engineering drawings and bills of materials in support of site engineering programmes. Correct application of BS 8888 and ISO9001. In accordance with internal sign off procedures. Correct application of materials and tolerances for the purposes of form fit and function. Liaising with Product, Process and Manufacturing engineers to support their process and equipment requirements.

This includes co-operating and following all reasonable instruction, information and training reporting work-related hazards or incidents and using all equipment for the purpose intended.
