Design Engineer responsibilities include -

Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) by designing and developing tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.

Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and production documentation, ensuring ERP data accuracy.

Support feasibility reviews, manufacturability analyses, and technical assessments.

Provide engineering support to production, resolving tooling, process, and material issues.

rive improvement through lean initiatives, tooling upgrades, and design standardisation.

Support root cause analysis, process validation, and integration of engineering changes.Design Engineer desirable skills and experience -

Experience within a similar role - NPI Design Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer etc.

Strong experience using 3D software packages such as Catia, or Solidworks.

Proven background in design or manufacturing engineering within a production environment.

Solid understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals / modern manufacturing methods.

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks to deadline.Design Engineer benefits include -
