Were currently looking for a Design Engineer to support the documentation, illustration, and digital modelling of engineering designs and processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of the production process, acting as the voice of the customer to ensure vehicle quality meets the highest standards. Responsibilities typically include: Analyse engineering specifications and convert them into precise technical blueprints, drawings, layouts, and simulation models using CAD/CAM/CAE software. Utilise standard techniques to digitise, modify, and update designs for components, parts, and assemblies. Configure and tailor CAD/CAM/CAE software to accurately represent complex or non-standard design concepts. Create digital prototypes and perform design simulations to validate reliability and safety, while identifying opportunities to optimise engineering processes. Collaborating with product/manufacturing process engineers by recommending changes to component designs based on outcomes of digital proto-typing and design simulations
