Salary - £40,000 to £50,000 DOE

Location: Chester CH1

Working Hours

8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 1.30pm, Friday

JDR is recruiting for a design engineer to work in a large manufacturing site in Chester

This is a varied role, so perfect for someone who likes each day to come with it's own challenges. Your core duties will be as follows: Create and maintain detailed engineering drawings and technical documentation Design mechanical components and develop complete assemblies using SolidWorks Recording and assisting other departments in investigating product complaints Diagnose and resolve design and production issues, implementing corrective actions as needed Analyse current processes and identify opportunities for improvement using data-driven approaches

About You: As a design engineer you will have the following skills and experience: Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BEng or equivalent minimum) Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD design software Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal Some experience within a manufacturing environment is preferable Flexible and a...
