Responsibilities of the Design Engineering Support Engineer: · Design support: Assist in the creation and modification of CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation for new and existing products. · Prototyping and testing: Support prototype builds, testing activities, and data collection to validate and refine product designs. · Documentation management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date design documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements. · Cross-functional collaboration: Liaise with R&D, manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams to gather requirements, resolve queries, and support project deliverables. · Engineering change management: Assist in the preparation, tracking, and implementation of engineering change requests and documentation. · Continuous improvement: Contribute to process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and design optimisation activities. · Issue tracking: Support the management of reported issues, quality initiatives, and corrective actions as directed by the Design Engi...
