Base pay rangeDesktop Build & Deployment EngineerPeterborough (2 days onsite, 3 remote)The RoleWe’re looking for a Desktop Build & Deployment Engineer to join the Workspace & Infrastructure team on an initial contract basis. You’ll play a key role in keeping the desktop estate secure, modern, and reliable, from patching and vulnerability management through to imaging, packaging, and rolling out Windows and Mac builds.This is a hands-on role where you’ll be the go-to person for SCCM, Intune/Autopilot and Jamf, working closely with our Infosec team to keep our environment safe and up to date.What You’ll Be DoingBuilding, testing and maintaining Windows 11 and MacOS imagesAdministering and deploying via SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and JamfManaging patching and vulnerabilities across the desktop estate, working to SLA targetsSupporting BAU incidents and requests related to OS images, applications, and security toolsPartnering with Infosec to stay on top of workspace vulnerabilitiesSupporting hardware requests and asset managementRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong knowledge of Windows 10/11 builds and SCCMExperience with Intune/Autopilot deploymentsPatch management and vulnerability remediation skillsSoftware/Application packaging experienceAble to commit to working in the Peterborough office a minimum of 2 days per weekThis is initially on a contract basis until February 2026; however there is potential for this to be extended.
