Job Title: DevOps Engineer - London

Location: London, UK

Hybrid: 2-3 days a week working from the office

Capgemini is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Financial Services team in London. You will be responsible for implementing and managing the tools, processes, and infrastructure that enable rapid deployment and efficient operations of our financial services application.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage tools, processes, and infrastructure to enable rapid deployment and efficient operations of financial services applications.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience with containers, Kubernetes and related technologies on cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
  • 3 years of experience setting up cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation.
  • Experience with DevOps tooling (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Nexus, Git, Jira, etc.).
  • Experience configuring a wide range of AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, EC2, RDS, MSK, etc.).
  • Experience with virtual server hosting (EC2), container management (Kubernetes, ECS, EKS) and Linux.
  • Networking knowledge including VPCs, subnets, peering, firewalls, etc.
  • 5 years of scripting experience (PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, Node.js, Python).
  • Proficiency with Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GitLab, Git workflows; Docker experience and container orchestration (ECS/EKS, Kubernetes).
  • Exposure to working within a controlled environment such as banking and financial services.
  • Relevant AWS certification.
