Role Summary

We seek a talented software engineer to join our Research Platform team. You will work closely with R&D to build a cloud-agnostic platform that enhances stability, scalability, and velocity in research. You will develop and optimize tools to empower researchers working with high-performance clusters.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and implement complex systems, focusing on reliability, reproducibility, and speed.
  2. Create flexible yet robust development environments for researchers.
  3. Design and maintain data pipelines handling large datasets.
  4. Optimize builds, container images, libraries, and environments.
  5. Collaborate with researchers to understand workflows and enhance productivity.
  6. Produce documentation and content to facilitate tool adoption.
  7. Contribute to continuous improvement of research platforms.

About You

Additional assets include experience with Bazel or similar build tools, Python ecosystem, GPU workloads, and remote work environments.

Location & Remote Work

This role is based in Paris, France, with a preference for local or willing-to-relocate candidates. Remote work is possible with some in-office visits, especially during onboarding. Candidates in France, UK, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, or Italy may be considered for remote work with periodic visits to Paris.
