What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a key member of a Software Engineering team, you’ll be working with our Customers to build systems that support their core mission capabilities.
  • You’ll work as part of empowered, autonomous DevOps teams with regular contact with end-users to flexibly and efficiently understand, design, develop, deploy and maintain applications and services.
  • Contribute to refinement of non-functional requirements
  • Drive the prioritisation and delivery of backlogs
  • Implement security best-practices and recommendations; often through the means of developed services and automation
  • Facilitate an effective relationship between third party suppliers and Home Office platform teams
  • Participate in workstream and project Scrum ceremonies
  • Raise issues and risks appropriately
  • Ability to operate in small cross-functional engineering teams to build supportable, sustainable, and reliable services
  • Create quality documentation and Jira ticket commentary
