Salary: £110,000 - £160,000

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. This is a key role where you will take ownership of DevOps, observability, and compliance readiness, enabling engineering teams to innovate quickly while ensuring reliability, security, and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to support rapid product growth
• Prepare infrastructure for SOC 2 and ISO 27001 audits, aligned with enterprise requirements
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for backend, frontend, and data services
• Lead observability efforts including logging, metrics, tracing, and on-call processes
• Monitor and optimise cloud spend while maintaining system performance
• Drive a culture of operational excellence across the engineering function

What You’ll Bring

• 4–7 years’ experience in infrastructure, security, or DevOps roles within high-growth or high-load environments
• Proven experience owning infrastructure end-to-end from architecture to production support
• Strong technical skills with Azure (AWS also valuable), Terraform, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, and GitHub Actions
• Expertise in observability frameworks, networking, and cloud security best practices
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL, plus cloud storage solutions
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python or Bash)
• Familiarity with compliance standards including SOC 2, ISO 27001, or GDPR
